Asian Journal of Social Psychology

The Asian Journal of Social Psychology stimulates research and encourages academic exchanges for the advancement of social psychology in Asia. It publishes theoretical and empirical papers, as well as book reviews by Asian scholars and those interested in Asian cultures and societies.

Coverage includes all aspects of social processes such as development, cognition, personality, health, counselling, organisation and education. The journal encourages interdisciplinary integration with social sciences and humanities.

Journal of Social IssuesJournal of Social Issues

Journal of Social Issues (JSI) brings behavioral and social science theory, empirical evidence, and practice to bear on human and social problems. Each issue of JSI focuses on a single topic – recent issues, for example, have addressed poverty, housing and health; privacy as a social and psychological concern; youth and violence; and the impact of social class on education.

Analyses of Social Issues and Public Policy

Analyses of Social Issues and Public Policy (ASAP) is a journal of the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues (SPSSI). The journal is an outlet for psychological and social science scholarship with implications for social action and policy. Under the guidance of an international editorial board, ASAP serves a global audience that includes policy makers and advocates as well as social scientists, students, and the public at large. Articles are published electronically as soon as they are accepted for publication, then in print at the end of every calendar year.

Social Issues and Policy Review

Published annually, Social Issues and Policy Review (SIPR) is the newest journal from the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues. This publication provides timely theoretical and empirical reviews of topics and research that directly relate to understanding and addressing social issues and public policy. The content published in SIPR is not limited to a particular point of view, political or social ideology, geographic area of focus, or disciplinary orientation. Each single-issue volume encompasses areas of global concern and focuses on a variety of topics.

Journal of Applied Social Psychology

Published since 1971, Journal of Applied Social Psychology is a monthly publication devoted to applications of experimental behavioral science research to problems of society (e.g., organizational and leadership psychology, safety, health, and gender issues; perceptions of war and natural hazards; jury deliberation; performance, AIDS, cancer, heart disease, exercise, and sports).

Journal of The History of the Behavioral Sciences

The Journal of the History of the Behavioral Sciences is a quarterly, peer-reviewed, international journal devoted to the scientific, technical, institutional, and cultural history of the social and behavioral sciences. The journal publishes research articles, book reviews, and news and notes that cover the development of the core disciplines of psychology, anthropology, sociology, psychiatry and psychoanalysis, economics, linguistics, communications, political science, and the neurosciences. The journal also welcomes papers and book reviews in related fields, particularly the history of science and medicine, historical theory, and historiography.

Journal of Applied Biobehavioral Research

The Journal of Applied Biobehavioral Research, launched in 1993, aims to disseminate findings of behavioral science research which have applications to current problems of society. By publishing relevant research and emphasizing the excellence of experimental design, as well as potential applicability of experimental results, the journal intends to bridge the theoretical and applied areas of biobehavioral research. The Journal of Applied Biobehavioral Research serves as a means of communication among scientists, as well as between researchers and those engaged in the task of solving social and biomedical problems.

The Journal of Community & Applied Social Psychology publishes papers regarding social behaviour in relation to community problems and strengths. The journal is international in scope, reflecting the common concerns of scholars and community practitioners in Europe and worldwide.

Social Development

Social Development is a major international journal dealing with all aspects of children’s social development as seen from a psychological stance. Coverage includes a wide range of topics such as social cognition, peer relationships, social interaction, attachment formation, emotional development and children’s theories of mind. The main emphasis is placed on development in childhood, but lifespan, cross-species and cross-cultural perspectives enhancing our understanding of human development are also featured.

European Journal of Social Psychology

The European Journal of Social Psychology is a truly international forum for high quality, peer reviewed, original research in all areas of social psychology (articles published in 2006 & 2007 – 65% EU, 25% N. America & 10% ROW). Our international editorial team encourages submissions based on empirical, meta-analytical and theoretical research, which provide a significant contribution to the understanding of social psychological phenomena.

European Journal of Personality

The European Journal of Personality is the official journal of the European Association of Personality Psychology, and is published by John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. The Journal promotes the development of empirical and theoretical personality psychology within Europe and elsewhere, by reporting and reviewing original research, theoretical issues, methodological advances and current experience.
